Attorney Biography

Daniel Lund’s practice focuses on construction and surety litigation and arbitration, business, insurance and products liability defense litigation, contract drafting and negotiations, telecommunications, as well as land use law in the areas of zoning and planning.  Mr. Lund is also the author and editor of the quarterly Shields Mott Lund Louisiana Construction Law Newsletter.

Mr. Lund lectures regularly in construction law topics, including Louisiana lien law, zoning and land use planning, general Louisiana and Federal construction law, and is also a frequent speaker on legal ethics topics.  Mr. Lund maintains an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell for legal ability and adherence to professional standard of ethics.

Mr. Lund serves as a mediator through Perry Dampf Dispute Solutions, and is on the arbitration panels of Perry Dampf Dispute Solutions, the American Arbitration Association and the New York Stock Exchange.
